Writing and Writing Instruction in the Era of AI

Those who teach writing or leverage writing for learning and assessment in their courses are among the educators whose practice and pedagogy have been the most disrupted by the emergence of generative AI. Academic integrity persists as an ongoing challenge while, at the same time, writing and communication practices are being reshaped in real-world contexts beyond the academy.
