The AAC&U Conference on Transforming STEM Higher Education advances undergraduate STEM education reform by foregrounding the diverse perspectives, worldviews, voices, and desires of STEM faculty—especially those from groups that have been historically marginalized in STEM. This event provides a deeper understanding of classroom, institutional, and national levers of reform and outlines a national agenda for manipulating those levers to drive discovery, innovation, and social change in STEM higher education.

During AAC&U’s Conference on General Education, Pedagogy, and Assessment, educators from all areas of higher education examine strategies to better prepare students to thrive in their fields of study, in their future careers, as civic leaders, and as lifelong learners. Conference sessions reflect on current practices, question staid approaches, and spotlight innovative solutions to enhance quality and equity in student learning.
