AAC&U is closely monitoring the spread of the Omicron variant, and we will continue to be guided by recommendations from the CDC and information from local public health professionals. The 2022 Annual Meeting continues to plan for a hybrid meeting.
The DC government reinstated the indoor mask mandate on December 21, 2021, and on January 15, 2022, will implement a city-wide vaccination entry mandate, requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry to indoor facilities within the city. This requirement is in addition to the AAC&U requirement to provide vaccination verification.
AAC&U is committed to protecting the health and safety of all who participate in the 2022 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, and those in our local communities who may be at risk from COVID-19. Anyone not vaccinated against COVID-19, or unable to provide proof of vaccination, is invited to participate virtually.
In order to attend the 2022 Annual Meeting in person, attendees must have received their final COVID-19 dose by January 5, 2022.
You will need to provide proof of vaccination and receive vaccine verification (see below) and comply with current health guidance from the government of the District of Columbia.
