Dr. Roger Taylor is an assessment and educational researcher at AI Integrated Concepts, where he leads research and development on software that combines computational linguistics with generative AI to enhance instructors' scoring accuracy and feedback efficacy. With a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and an M.A. in Educational Psychology, he brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education as a faculty member, administrator, and research scientist.
Dr. Taylor's current AI research portfolio encompasses three key areas: (1) cross-institutional studies that assess and benchmark AI literacy and fluency across diverse educational contexts, (2) computational text-analysis of generative-AI policies across national and international institutions and academic disciplines, and (3) the development and evaluation of general-education assessments that meaningfully integrate generative AI tools and practices. His work bridges cognitive science, educational technology, and institutional policy to support evidence-based educational innovation.
