Rob Nelson is a writer and educator who spent 18 years managing academic technology projects at the University of Pennsylvania, including implementing enterprise systems for course evaluations, course management, graduate admissions, and student records. He explores the educational value of generative AI through his writing at ailog.blog and teaches classes about educational technology and the history of higher education at the University of Pennsylvania. This fall, Rob will teach a new class titled "How AI is changing higher education" as a seminar for first-year undergraduates in Arts & Sciences and as a graduate course for students at Penn GSE.
