Hannah Schneider

Director of Digital Education Programs

Hannah Schneider is the Director of Educational Programs in the Office for Curricular, Pedagogical, and Digital Innovation at AAC&U. Hannah works to support the office’s many digital education programs, including the Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum. In her role, Hannah combines her instructional design expertise, passion for liberal arts education, and dedication to online community building. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Roanoke College in 2019 and then started her career at AAC&U as a Program Assistant in OCPDI. In 2023, Hannah graduated with her master’s degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Georgetown University. She took a position as an Instructional Designer at the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences, located at the National Institutes of Health, where she explored ways to improve micro-credentialing pathways for NIH researchers and the broader community of learners. After her time at FAES, Hannah worked as a Senior Instructional Designer II, Online Learning at the American Psychiatric Association where she created various learning experiences for Continuing Medical Education credits for psychiatrists, therapists, and the medical community, until coming back to AAC&U in 2024.
