Overview

This three-week online AAC&U VE/COIL clinic helps participants align virtual exchange with institutional mission, curriculum, and global engagement goals. Through case examples and collaborative planning, participants will develop strategies for integrating VE/COIL into institutional and program priorities.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Map institutional goals and policies that support VE/COIL implementation.

  • Identify structures that enable sustainability and scalability.

  • Draft an institutional or departmental action plan to advance VE/COIL adoption.

About the Clinic Series

AAC&U’s VE/COIL Clinics are short, theme-based professional development sessions combining asynchronous learning with one to two live sessions. Participants receive an AAC&U-issued digital credential upon completion.

Participants explore strategies, tools, and frameworks to strengthen global learning through virtual exchange and collaborative online international learning (COIL).
